The Cleveland MetroParks came right up to the back door of East Prep recently! Although the trees weren't really real, the adaptations of several local animals certainly were. From an opossum to a skunk, younger students K-5 were tested on their reading, listening and application skills. After hearing about some interesting features and seeing some real skulls, students moved on to examine bees in their hives, crawl through a log and get a close up look at a fox that looked amazingly real! It was almost as good as visiting the actual MetroParks themselves and we hope that families do just that before the weather gets too cold!
