CHROMEBOOK AGREEMENT

Forrester Education is pleased to provide students with Chromebooks. In exchange for the privilege of using this equipment, Forrester Education requires students, parents and guardians to agree to the following:

1.     Acceptable Use and Internet Safety Policy (EDE) - Please refer to school handbook

2.     Responsibility for Damage, Loss or Theft - The student and parents/guardians agree to safeguard and take good care of the equipment to avoid any theft or damage. The student and parents/guardians will promptly report any loss, damage or problems with the equipment. Damaged, lost, or stolen equipment will be fixed or replaced at the expense of the student and parents/guardians pursuant to Ohio law, including Revised Code Section 3313.642. Failure to pay for damaged, lost, or stolen equipment may result in consequences as permitted by law.

3.     Ownership - Forrester retains sole right of ownership and possession of the Chromebook. The Chromebooks are lent to the students for educational purposes only. Moreover, the administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks, monitor student work or to alter, add or delete installed software or hardware at any time.

4.     Collection -  Any student who withdraws, terminates enrollment or is expelled must return their assigned Chromebook and accessories immediately.  If a student fails to return the device and/or accessories when requested, the device and accessories will be considered stolen property and law enforcement will be notified.

5.     District Liability - In no event shall Forrester Education be held liable to any claim of damage, negligence, or breach of duty while the device is in possession of the student. 

EQUIPMENT THAT WILL BE ISSUED:

●      One (1) Chromebook,  One (1) Chromebook charger per student

 By signing below, the student and parent/guardian agree to follow and accept the terms in the Student Chromebook Agreement form.
